Lisa Fearn will be in the marquee demonstrating her cookery skills thoughout the day.
Lisa runs The Pumpkin Patch at her home
near Whitemill, Carmarthen.
The Pumpkin Patch is a kitchen and garden
school that links the growing and cooking
of our food, bringing a real understanding
of where the food comes from
and what we can do with it.
You can regularly see Lisa on S4C's
Wedi 3 programme bursting with
ideas on tips on what to cook.
She has also appeared on other radio
and television programmes

Assisting Lisa with one of her demonstrations will be Hazel Thomas.
Hazel trained as a chef at Westminster College, Vincent Square, London from 1974-1977. On leaving college she joined the kitchen brigade at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane in London, working for Anton Mosimann, whom she claims greatly influenced her thinking on food. Her interest in food however stems from her background as a child growing up on a farm in West Wales where she discovered first hand the process by which food journeys from field to fork. Hazel was one of the six cooks to represent Wales for the Welsh Assembly Government at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival where she shared the history and traditions of Welsh food with the audiences in Washington.

 |
Hazel is currently working for Culturenet Cymru on the Digital Heritage in the Community Project.
Hazel would love to hear from anyone with any old recipes or remedies as she is collecting them for Culturenet Cymru's Digital Heritage in the Community Project which is promoting their free digital training project supported by Communities 2.0 through the Welsh Assembly Government and the European ERDF Scheme. Please come along and meet the team who will help you to document the information digitally |
